Moving Digit Cards

Moving Digit Cards features both an interactive teaching mode, ideal for use on an interactive whiteboard, and a practise mode where students can put their skills to the test. The teaching mode demonstrates the effect of multiplying and dividing whole or decimal numbers by 10, 100 or 1000. It is especially useful for highlighting the need for moving the digits rather than the decimal point when working with decimals.

The teaching mode is flexible as it can handle numbers up to millions and down to tens of thousandths. Column headings can be displayed in either values or abbreviations such as HTO. The practise mode features an automatic teaching demonstration guide if a students make errors.
