Recognising Groups in Early Multiplication, Space

Being able to recognise the size of equal groups is an important stepping stone to understanding multiplication. This worksheet, with a space theme, has various equal groups of similar items. Children need to recognise how many groups there are, the size of each group and then record their findings as a formal multiplication sentence.
