This BBC site is a music, singing and performance resource for children aged 9 to 12 based on the story of the Trojan War. Presented by David Grant. It has the narrated story of Helen of Troy and the Wooden Horse.

This simple to use site has balance scales which shows how things used to be weighed but it uses grams. It works very well on an interactive whiteboard.

Co-ordinates - Reasoning about Position and Shape
An interactive site where you find the missing coordinates on a given shape, reflected in a mirror line, or the midpoints of straight lines. You can choose to find coordinates in the first quadrant, or all four quadrants.
Code for Life - Rapid Router
Code for Life is a free initiative which helps primary school children learn to code. The site has been designed to support British teachers in the delivery of the computer science curriculum with specific reference to coding skills.
Beating Bacteria
A site which explains the difficulties drug companies have in producing new antibiotics including an explanation of how bacteria become drug resistant. On-line research into bacteria and antibiotics is an optional activity.
