A good learning to read site. There are good quality games and animated stories which children can interact with. The children can click on words to see what they say. Excellent for learning the sounds the letters make.

A graphical dictionary and thesaurus which is a great teaching aid on an interactive whiteboard if you are encouraging children to think of alternative words in their creative writing.

Match the pairs which could be numerals, numbers as words, ten frames, base ten or fingers on hands. There are different levels the highest of which goes up to 20.
The Vile Vendor Probability Game
The Vending Machine gives vile drinks such as Cabbage, Smelly Sock or Fresh Fish. You need to work out the likelihood of getting each flavour and choose a matching probability word: impossible, unlikely, equal, likely or certain.
When Two Vowels Go Walking
The song in the video explains the rule: "When two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking." Words that appear include: boat, meat, train, pail, rain, brain, soap, say, neat, beat, dream, pain, and plain.
