Read about the 1969 moon landing and view video footage from the time. You can listen to interviews with the astronauts.
A Teacher's Guide to the Holocaust
A great site for instructional resources on the Holocaust. There is illustrated, historical background of the rise of the Nazi Party, the Nazification of Germany, the Jewish ghettos and concentration camps.
Fruit Splat Addition
7 levels of addition sums to solve. The levels go up to adding two digit numbers with regrouping. Splat the fruit with the correct answers. Vary the speed to give yourself more time.
Claw
A game of estimation. You need to estimate where on a decimal number line to position the claw grabber to match a percentage figure. It is a good way of testing whether you understand the relationship between decimals and percentages.
Counting
A site packed with free tools to help educators and parents teach maths to kids from ages 3 to 5. Great lessons, games, videos and downloadable materials to support the teaching of basic concepts of counting.

Countdown
A great mental maths challenge where you need to use the numbers available and the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) to hit the target. The game does not check your solution. Works well on IWB.
Dienes and Coins
Useful place value teaching resources for use on an interactive whiteboard. They cover hundreds, tens and ones and UK money. With some you will need to drag the Dienes blocks to represent the number you want. Please note the decimals section is faulty.
