Bead Numbers is a place value investigation involving a tens and ones abacus. The game provides a good context for encouraging learners to think systematically.
Number Line
Number Line helps students visualise number sequences and illustrate strategies for counting, comparing or the four operations. Number lines can be easily adapted with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, or negative numbers.
In My Footsteps
The My Footsteps project looks at local trails in Whitechapel, Limehouse and Poplar, representing personal perspectives on the historical, cultural and social changes that have occurred. Includes five lesson plans and free app.
Thinking of a Number
Use inverse operations to work backwards to find the missing number. Useful as a teaching aid on an interactive whiteboard.

Make a train by sequencing the mumbers on their carriages. The numbers are represented in a range of formats such as words, numerals, dice dots or counting frames. The levels progress in difficulty. Level 5 has sequences of twos, fives and tens.
