Shape Patterns

Shape Patterns is a sequencing game where children from 3 to 8 years of age need to complete the pattern of different coloured 2D shapes. Three levels of difficulty.

3-8 year olds
Shape Monsters

The Shape Monsters game is an introduction to 2D shapes for young children. Children need to feed the monsters with the correct shapes. The monsters then say the name of the shape they've eaten.

2-5 year olds
Shifting Shapes

Can you name the 2D and 3D shapes? The game from ictgames has a draggable torch shining on a hidden shape. You can move the torch to guess the name of the shape and then click the 'eye' to see if you were right.

6-9 year olds
Sorting 3D Shapes on a Venn Diagram

An activity where you use a Venn diagram to sort a variety of 3D shapes according to their properties, including: whether they are pyramids or prisms, the number of faces, edges and vertices and whether they have a curved surface.

7-11 year olds
