Apple Picking
A missing numbers game which focuses on numbers from 0 to 20. Children are presented with a series of numbers and have to select the apple to find the missing number.
Grover's Winter Games
This game is probably suitable more for use at home than at school. It has three parts. The first has number to 15 number recognition activities, the second has shape patterns to complete and the third tests a child's ability to follow instructions.
Pattern Shapes
Try making patterns, tessellations or pictures with shapes. Explore geometry and fractions or investigate symmetry. Great for demonstrating protractors and measuring angles in shapes.
Ways to Make
Essentially a number bonds to 10 site the children need to find how many different ways they can put teddies in two houses. The site works well on an interactive whiteboard.
Num Tanga Junior
Match the pairs which could be numerals, numbers as words, ten frames, base ten or fingers on hands. There are different levels the highest of which goes up to 20.
Bon-Go Go Go!
Can you count up to 10? Count the bongo drum beats to find out.
5 Fat Sausages
This is a one less action rhyme which can be played to accompany the song. Alternatively the game can be played with 10 sausages. It could be used to predict subtraction to 10 when children are learning number bonds to 10.
Tree Tool
A teacher tool where you can demonstrate addition and subtraction by dragging items from the dock onto the scene. Subtract items by dragging them into the bin.
Phase 2 Phonics
The 16 Learner Guides support children learning Phase 2 of the Letters and Sounds phonics programme. The fun videos help children to see letter sounds in words. It supports correct letter formation too.
