Crocuses Daffodils Tulips Primroses Cowslips Bluebells

Flowers such as crocuses, daffodils and tulips are very popular garden plants as they provide welcome colour in the garden after the winter. They grow from bulbs and are some of the first flowers of spring. They come up every year if left in the ground.

Popular wild flowers growing in meadows and woods include primroses, cowslips and bluebells.

There are fewer bluebells than there used to be. People like to see them but sadly not everyone takes care of them. When you go into the woods please keep to the paths so you don't trample on these delightful plants and please don't pull them up. Left alone they can reproduce, making more beautiful bluebells.
