National Thank a Teacher Day
It's National Thank a Teacher Day on 18th June! For over 25 years The Teaching Awards Trust has been celebrating the work of our educationalists. Thank a Teacher Day has become a key event in the school calendar.
Last year over 82,000 free thank you e-cards were sent to teaching and support staff across the UK and this year the charity is aiming to make the event even bigger. To support schools taking part this year they have created free, PSHE curriculum-based lesson plans and activities. These easy-to-use resources help children reflect on and celebrate all the people who make their early years settings, schools and colleges such positive places to learn – from teachers and Teaching Assistants to office staff, caretakers and more.
