Two-Step Word Problems, Three-Digit Numbers

This is a series of three worksheets with addition and subtraction word problems all involving three-digit numbers. Students will need to determine the operations that are required to solve each calculation. They may like to write the formula with brackets to help decide the two steps required for each problem. Grids are included so that problems can be worked out in column format. A knowledge of decomposition in subtraction is required.

Answers are provided for all calculations.
