The purpose of the Maths Hubs Programme, coordinated by the NCETM, is to help schools and colleges lead improvement in mathematics education in England.
Today's Number (to 20)
Our Today's Number game can help early years children to learn the numbers to 20 in a fun way. The various activities help with number formation, recognition, ordering and counting.
Add and Subtract on a Number Line
Try adding and subtracting near multiples on a number line. Develop mental methods of addition and subtraction by adding and subtracting a multiple of 10 or 100, and then adjusting. Works well on IWB.
Fractions
A great teaching tool for fractions. Use a bar or circle to represent, compare, and perform operations with fractions with denominators from 1 to 100. Reveal or hide numeric labels as needed.
Christmas Patterns
A Christmas edition of our Shape Patterns game. This is a sequencing game where children from 3 to 8 years of age need to complete a sequence of Christmas icons by finding the missing shape. Excellent for logic and problem solving.
Measuring in Cm
A measuring game which can help children to understand how to use a ruler. Children need to measure various objects against a centimetre ruler. Two levels of difficulty with whole centimetre and half centimetre examples.
Flip Counter
A brilliant counting tool which displays numbers up to 99.999. It is excellent for demonstrating 1 more or less, 10 more or less or 100 more or less. It is also useful as a place value tool and there is an optional decimal point.

Co-ordinates - Reasoning about Position and Shape
An interactive site where you find the missing coordinates on a given shape, reflected in a mirror line, or the midpoints of straight lines. You can choose to find coordinates in the first quadrant, or all four quadrants.

A versatile number line that can be used at many different levels beginning at numbers 1 to 10 up to fractions, decimals and negative numbers. Place numbers on a number line and see how close you can get.
