Inside the Nest Box
This picture shows the nest almost completed. Look how carefully the twigs and moss have been almost woven together with very few spaces. The birds have made the nest cup-shaped and lined the middle with animal hair to provide soft bedding for the chicks.
This photograph was taken secretly through a glass side to the nest box. The birds have no idea. If the birds were disturbed they would leave the nest immediately.
